CLIENT: Cuvee

EVENT: Free Dinner for Dogs
|
There
is a large French and Francophile community in the city, and the restaurant
community wisely uses July 14 as a opportunity to boost sagging summer
sales. When Cuvee Notredame wanted to create an event for the holiday,
the challenge was to do something out of the ordinary, beyond all
the parties and events already taking place.
Whats the one big difference between having dinner in Paris
and Philadelphia? Dogs underneath the table. In France, the dogs get
to go to dinner too and enjoy the party. Philadelphians love their
dogs as much as French people love their chiens. Voila! Free dinner
for dogs. Put all the tables outdoors, take over the street, and let
the dogs come to dinner. In
costume.
Smashing success. Biggest night of the year for the restaurant. Every
TV station, every newspaper shows for photos and stories. Serious
community goodwill. Incredibly well-behaved dogs.
